IMG_20151013_121307El alumnado de 3º de Secundaria recibió hace unos días sus primeras cartas de sus colegas noruegos. Están encantados de conocer a otros y otras adolescentes de otro país e intercambiar información sobre temas de su interés. Ya están preparando sus segundas cartas. Al principio, eran un poco reacios a escribir sobre su vida a gente desconocida pero tras el primer contacto por carta, su interés y motivación por aprender a comunicar correctamente sus ideas y sentimientos se han multiplicado. Ya están deseando recibir otra respuesta. Esta experiencia parte del proyecto eTwinning que hemos llamado «Improving English by making penfriends and sharing culture», que se desarrolla durante las horas de una nueva asignatura, «International Relations», en los cursos de 3º y 4º de Secundaria. ¡En breve tendréis noticias sobre el proyecto de 4º de Secundaria!IMG_20151013_121259

Secondary 3 students received their first letter from their norwegian penfriends some days ago! They are really excited about meeting teenagers from another country and exchanging information about topics based on their interests. They are already preparing their second letters.  In the beginning students were a bit afraid of telling about their life to an unknown person, but motivation and interest in learning how to communicate their ideas and feelings properly have increased after the first contact with penpals. Now, they are looking forward to having replies from their partners. This eTwinning project called «Improving English by making penfriends and sharing culture» is developed within the new subject «International Relations», which has been recently included in both Secondary 3 and 4 levels.
